I found this cicada by my dad’s wheel.
Cicadas are insects.
Insects have six legs and three part bodies.
They wear their skeletons on the outside. This is called an exoskeleton. It protects them.
Baby cicadas live underground. When they come out they leave their shells. We found a shell on the house, by a big spider web. The spider was really big, nearly gigantic!
I drew a picture of the cicada, but not the spider, it would scare me.

Cool stuff, Aidan. I’m glad you didn’t post a picture of the spider because it would scare me too!
